Who is it for? If you are in crisis What happens in a counselling session? The counsellor will listen to you. How long will it take? Each session will tend to last between 50 minutes to 1 hour and we generally recommend 1 session per week. However, both of these may be negotiable between you and the counsellor. Do you have wheelchair access? Yes, at our Guildford premises. How much will it cost? £45.00 - £60.00 per session Is there a cancellation fee? Usually a charge equivalent to 100% of the cost per session will be made if less than 24 hours notice is given but this is dependent upon circumstances. BACP is the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. What is UKRC? UKRC is the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors. What does 'person centred' mean? These are both available on the BACP website and both Clive and Sally hold copies. How will you be monitored? For your safety and protection West Surrey Counsellors are registered members of the British Association of Counselling and must have regular supervision with a suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor.
