Clive. I initially worked in Send prison when it was a male unit and then continuing when it changed to a female establishment. I currently work for two national employee assistance providers, and also manage a charity (Oakleaf Enterprise) which provides support and guidance for people with mental health problems. I have participated in various Social Services mental health courses, and have recently been studying Borderline Personality Disorders. These are all with a view to my continuing professional development.
My professional qualifications include a Diploma in Humanistic counselling. |
Sally. I am committed to helping people lead their lives with greater satisfaction. To this end I offer a space where you may explore and understand your feelings and beliefs with a view to living your life more fully. I have worked as a counsellor in private practice for a number of years with people from all walks of life and at Send prison for ten years with both prisoners and staff. I have also worked in a hospital with people with head injuries and as a counsellor in further, secondary and primary education providing support and counselling to young people and staff. I am also involved in supervising helpline volunteers on a Rape and Sexual Abuse Helpline and counselling survivors.
I regularly undertake courses in all areas of my work as I strongly believe in my own continued professional development. More recently I qualified as a Supervisor and supervise counsellors from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and modalities.
My qualifications include a BA (Hons) a Diploma in Counselling and a Diploma in Case Work Supervision. Iwork as a Person Centred practitioner. |
